Filter multiple repeating tables from ID of another repeating table

I am creating a form with multiple repeating tables I would like to let the user select an employee from the drop down list and show all related information from different repeating tables. I managed to create the drop down list to select the employee and show detail about the employee and also the first repeating table showing data from the PPE list (filtered by the Employee ID) but I would also like to show data from the two other nested repeating tables Inspection and History. These are linked by the ID of the PPE table not the Employee ID...not sure if I am doing the filtering right...all items are showing irrespective of their ID. Thank You

Put a "hide this control" formatting rule on your History repeating group with the following condition: PPEidHistory not equal to PPEid
