Hello I tried following the instructions that I found in one of the other posts for creating a dynamic xpath statement to retrieve the value from another field. What I am trying to do is set the violation number field = the value of /my:FSInspection/my:FineCounts/V[dynamic number based on value of that Violation row's FireItemID value. I think I just have my XPATH out of whack. Here is what I am trying to set in the default. Can anyone see where I am going wrong? /my:FSInspection/FineCounts/*[local-name(.) = concat("V", current()/my:FireItemID)]

How can I enable attachments so I can share my xsn?

You should be able to attach it under the Options tab in a reply.

I should add - see how you don't have the "my:" namespace prefix on FineCounts? Could that be your issue? I guess IP's formula editor probably would have caught that tho.
