    Show on the form data from other list item

     Environment: InfoPath 2010, SharePoint 2010

    Task: I have 2 lists (Project and Project Details). On the creating new Project Detail  form I can choose the Project item in the lookup field. And I need to show on this form some other fields' values from the selected Project. As I do not really want to create additional fields in my Project Details list I'd prefer to show this info as Calculated values on the form.

    Problem:  Everything is going well until I get in touch with lookup fields with multiple values. For such type I just can get the only one (first) value from the field and can't figure it out how to get all the values.

     Some more Details:

    My lists are:

    1. Regions - is used for the lookup field
      • ID
      • Title
    2. Project - the list from which I need to get info
      • ID
      • Title
      • Desc (text field)
      • Region (lookup field with multiple selection set on "Regions" list)
    3. Project Details - the list for which I am creating my form
      • Project (lookup on "Project" list)
      • Desc (calculated value - gets the "Desc" field's value from the Project item selected in Project field) - can get it
      • Region (calculated value - gets the "Region" field's value from the Project item selected in Project field) - can't get it when there is several Regions in "Region" field in selected Project

    Example:

    Project:

    ID = 1

    Title = Main project

    Desc = Try it

    Region = Russia, Europe (1;#Russia;#2;#Europe)

    Detail:

    Project = Main project (1;#Main Project)

    Desc = Try it

    Region = ??  how to get here Russia, Europe

    Actually I have about 10 field which I need to get from Project list item to show on my form. May be there is some other way to show this info (not like using calculated fields).

    Thanks in advance for any ideas!
