Trouble getting Sharepoint 2007 to populate columns from data via submitted Infopath 2010 forms

    Hi.

I am somewhat of an infopath newb, and am currently rather frustrated as to why this isnt working.

Ok, I have created a sharepoint form library with all the required fields that I need to have data on. Such fields are called IncidentDate, IncidentType etc. I have published the form to a sharepoint location that all staff can access, and the submission location is that our team only can access (Data protection and all that...)

I have tested the form submission on numerous occasions, tinkering with add columns in sharepoint, ensuring the column names are exactly the same as the ones in infopath. I have specified that these are required fields. The forms appear ok, and can be clicked on and opened ok, but there is nothing appearing in the columns.

What is it that I might be overlooking perhaps?

     Cookie for the best answer!

    Thanks

When you submit the form to the library, do you actually see the form (Name) in the library? If not check where you are publishing the form too.

     .

In addition, I'm not sure if you can submit an infopath 2010 form to a 2007 library. You might need to make sure you are using a 2007 form type.

    Thanks Wilkies,

When I submit the form  to the disignated sharepoint location, it is there to see, so that is fine. After running several tests, there are now all the forms that I submitted and they can all be opened as should be the case.  Moreover, the trouble I have is in getting the columns to work as they should.
