We have no need for browser enabled forms as all employees have InfoPath 2010 installed. To the question, I am looking for a way (hopefully no code) to open a new form when a user submits a completed form. Basically i have two buttons. "Submit" and "Submit & New". On the "Submit & New" button, i would like to be able to add a rule following "Close the Form" to open a new one. Seems simple enough, but I cannot figure out how to make this work since the list of "Actions" is limited to "Switch views", "Set a fields value", "Query for data", "Submit data", "Close the form" and "Send data to Web Part".The reason the form is designed this way is that it combines many tasks and some have different options for submitting. So there are several views and I need this one to open a new copy of itself when the once the user has submitted it.Any advice would be greatly appreciated. LostinSpace,
You can set a rule on a button to "Open a New form to fill out" then set a second rule to "close form" and untick the box to prompt to save.
Note: no rules can be applied AFTER a form is closed.
Hope this helps.
