I am at present working on a problem that is tricky because the evidence is inconsistent. I have a browser-based InfoPath 2007 running on SharePoint 2007. There is no code. The form consumes a couple of standard web services for check in/check out (thanks to Hilary Stoupa) and I link to one SharePoint list.
The error we get is: 'There has been an error while loading the form. A required resource could not be downloaded. To try to resume the download, refresh the page.
- This has affected IE9 users but not all of them.
- I have seen it affect an IE8 user.
- It affects Firefox users but not those with the IE Tab 2 compatibility add-on if they add the site to the add-on's Sites Filter.
- All the users have the same permissions, except me who has Full Control and even I get the error using Firefox natively.
We have tried the usual suspects: clear browser cache, clear history,
Please has anyone else seen this error in similar circumstances?
