Hi, I have created an field with the function 'username'. But then i upload the form to sharepoint. The output of this field is: i:05.t|external|[email protected] . Can someone help? I just want the output: [email protected] . So how can i remove: i:05.t|external| In the output??

1.put a dummy field on and have a rule set this field to the value of your usename, what is the output?

2. look at the column in the form library that it publishes to, what type is it set to.

You might have to publish a display name instead of a username and have the column that it publishes to set as a people/group type - email - can't remember off the top of my head, if you'll need a workflow to do this.

1. The output is:

i:05.t|external|[email protected]

Every user gets this output with his own e-mail address. But i want to remove i:05.t|external| automaticly so that only the e-mail address is displayed in the field.

2. The data type is: Text (String) I will try to change this...
