I am completely brand new to web services. I am also the infopath guy at our workplace. My boss is saying we need to have all our future forms need to have the data submit to our database using web services. Currently I just use code on the back end of the form. So here is my first question:
1. I have read a lot about web services, and I am wondering if anyone knows of a site/guide that shows you how to set up a basic web service for infopath.
2. I have not seen anyone use one web service for multiple different forms. and I am wondering if anyone has heard of this and if its possible. I think how it could possibly be done is you set up an array that loops through and creates variables for each control that is on the form. The variable names would all just be the ID of the control. You would just have to make sure your table was set up with all the columns with those same names. Anyone heard of something like this? or any thoughts at all about my idea?
