Bizzare DBXL form behavior is missing some of it's structure after submit to SharePoint

I have a form that uses dbxl and qRules however I believe neither has anything to do with problem I'm about to describe.  An "EPR" form which Patrick helped me create, was filled out by a supervisor and successfully submitted to SharePoint. Upon re-open from either the link it was created from or from SharePoint library, the bottom portion of the form is missing.  It's missing part of one section and all of another section.

Thankfully the data is preserved in database and the XML.  My first thought is somehow the xml was corrupted, but the xml holds the missing form data i.e. it's intact.  I compared the xml to another that has no problems and they are the same (except for the typed in data).

How can this happen?  Would the problem be elseware like the manifest.xsf or the myschema.xsd?

To fix the problem I reshredded - no change.  So then I deleted the SharePoint item and Document in DAT tool and recreated the form, which is now ok.

I was just curious if someone can explain why this behavior might have happened?  It is very bizzarre.
