InfoPath Dev

Hello,

I have a web form (SP2010) that I have developed.  In the form one of the fields looks up a contact from a contact list in SP.  When the user saves and submits the form, the form sends an email to that contact.  When using a webform it adds the contact full name "Joe Blow" as a text and does not pull in the contact email address so the person never receives it.

When I run this as an InfoPath form, it correctly associates the contact full name with the email address and then sends properly, but the user is prompted with the email template and has to click Send (any way around that, its annoying too)...

We don't recommend using the InfoPath Form Services server side email.

Rather, we recommend storing the email for the addressee in the InfoPath form and promoting it as a property. Then, you can create a simple SharePoint reusable workflow that accesses the field and emails user.
