Publish to other than SharePoint Question

I understand creating and publishing to SharePoint sites but I'm really having trouble understanding how or if I can publish an InfoPath form to a web site. I want to establish a site that contains a database (Excel or tables, or something) to contain the data that I can later create a report from.  Will it publish to a typical web site or to say a Google App worksheet?

I may need up to 50 people from various locations to submit data using the form but don't know if this is possible without installing InfoPath for each.  Is there a way that the form will appear online for users to input data as it does in SharePoint?

    Hi Zippy,

Without InfoPath client, you will need SharePoint. Office 365 might be a cheap solution for you if you can have the 50 people use a single account and specify their location info in the form.

The form data can be easily mapped to a SharePoint list on O365 and you can then export this to Excel for reporting.

Qdabra provides a Web service to map XML data to database. We also have a beta version of a Web site that can be used to setup submits from people - see http colon slash slash www dot FormsBoard dot com for more info. But, that requires the InfoPath rich client.
