Configuation : SharePoint 2010 - Infopath 2010
I'm a beginner with infopah and it's not easy for me but I try to find solution.
I knom how to create a form, a workflow, but I must to create a form with an particularity and I dont know how to do.
I have a Listbox with any datas.
When I select one or more items, I would like to put  the selected Items in other list (not necessary listbox, a simple list or table) with many data.
Example :
LISTE1 with 2 colunms (Num - Description (Description is a column who appear))
LISTE2 with 3 columns (NumLISTE1 - Détail 1 - commentaires - more)
NumLISTE1 data is the same date than the Num data of LISTE1
LISTE1
10 - LIGNEA
11 - LIGNEB
LISTE2
10 - Detail A LIGNEA - CommentaireA - ...
10 - Detail A LIGNEA - CommentaireA - ...

listbox with cascading is not the solution for me
I know how to concatenate the selected items but is not the solution for me or I dont know how to convert the text in the LISTE2 datas)
I hope you understand my description, I'm not good in english.

Are you using an InfoPath form (not a list form)?

I'm assuming you are. When the item is selected, you can have a rule that copies the concatenated value to a repeating table. Unfortunately, you cannot copy to a specific row unless you manually modify the templates manifest and that technique will not work in the browser. We have a plugin (qRules) that will support this SetValue special function but it requires a small purchase and an activated sandbox (for code behind).

Maybe I don't understand what you are trying to do.

I think I found a workaround and after all, we should agree:
I create a section with dropdown (in my form, I'd show up to 10). Each dropdown list pointing to the same LIST1.
I created a page dedicated to the display of the detail of the List2 list via a repeating table section. In the column listing the fields I create a rule to: SharePontListItem_RW (DataFields) of the List2 list. The rule is simple:
If common field value different value selection list box and
If common field value different value selection dropdown etc. ..
then Hide. It's ok.
I would have preferred a proposed list box multiple choice but I really struggle to do what I want.
I'm sorry if my explanation is not clear but if its needed, I could make screenshots.

In fact, not that the above solution does not work, but I had forgotten that I had too many lines in my list list2 (4800 lines .....).
The consequence is that the form load I have a message like "The amount of data returned by a data connection exceeds the configured maximum
limiste ..... etc ...) and when I test it, IE crashes(too heavy) ... (I have 2-3 connections receive data in addition to my list + 1
shipment).
I created a form with only my two lists and after publication, I have no worries. I think it is not possible to call a form from my main form
except perhaps by coding. The idea is that I get the value from form 1 to get the desired result to the form 2, and this, dynamically
(I don't know how to encode in infopath ...)
Otherwise, I thought to put an excel file as an attachment to the form. By opening a macro recover the
values of my fields and would display the desired detail (the detail is already in Excel), and always dynamically, when I insert some datas in
the form, or Conversely, I click a button on my form, it launches Excel by sending data from my fields, and details would be displayed via a macro.
Of course, I do not know how to retrieve the values of my form fields dynamically in Excel and so I look for ......

I would like to open an Excel file (inserted as Attachment in my form) for recover the values ​​of my combo boxes and via a macro, display the details of three values ​​(the details are already in the file Excel). PS: I can manage for VBA in Excel. I do not know how (and I do not know if this is feasible) how to retrieve the values ​​of the combo boxes and insert them into the attachment.
