Using Report Builder after you've installed InfoPath 2010 and 2013

When 2013 is installed, it creates assembly binding information that prevents Report Builder from working.

To fix this, open as administrator.  You'll need a decent editor (Visual Studio).  Notepad won't let you see inside \Windows\assembly\

    C:\Windows\assembly\GAC_MSIL\Policy.12.0.Microsoft.Office.InfoPath\15.0.0.0__71e9bce111e9429c\Policy.12.0.Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.config.

Change the binding number to version 14.

This will allow you to open Report Builder in 2010.

Thanks John for posting this workaround. Looks like you have a dual install of 2010 and 2013. We don't test dual install scenarios much because we assume 99%+ of users will have one or the other. Glad to hear you figured it out. Please email support if you find any issues you can't resolve. We're here for you.
