Moving Completed InfoPath Forms Out of View or Library

    All,

    I've an odd one.

I've had a request from users. I have various libraries with infopath forms. I have one department who receive the forms at the end of a process. The work on the form which has finished. The workflow has ended etc. It's just in the library.

They would like a way to move the form 'out of the library' to a completed section etc. They don't want a workflow involved. In my mind they are thinking in a Windows explorer way. i.e. move from one folder to another.

Is this my only option, create a folder in the library and teach them how to move it into the folders?

It needs to be as simple as possible. I wouldn't workflows etc. to kick off again if it was viewed as a new item.

    Thansk

What about instead of moving you have a status field and build views on it? The default view doesn't show items with status = completed, etc?

     Hilary,

Thanks, yes I could just add another column to the library and get the end users to tick a box and build from there.  They should be happy with that. (I hope).

    Thanks

This is really just a simple Filter on a View. Find a column that is unique to all completed items and just filter that view. Then on the main view - filter those completed OUT.
