Hi, Help, please. I need to convert a string to decimal with currency format. How can I do that? Thanks in advanced.

 Do you just need to display the string as a decimal value with the currency format? If so you can use a calculated value (expression box) for that.

 You could use a decimal field that has a default value of number(field) as the formula - with your string field in the number function.

how can I make it in expression? just to display as currency but the field remains as text?

In the form, you could use a calculated value set to display the data as currency. Just add a calculated value to the form, select the field that has the value, and under the properties, format it as a decimal. You'll have the options then to set the currency settings.

I can't do that since the field type is text and it doesn't have any format.

See attached sample. Save the file linked in this post header by right clicking the link. Then, right click the downloaded file and select design to open in design mode. Then you can preview, etc.
