Hide/Show Repeating Section and other text box controls in infopath filler

Hi, I am working with SharePoint 2010 with InfoPath Filler. I have a grid like UI which has 4 different rows with 3 columns. The 2nd column has a repeating section which contains drop down and few text box controls. The 3rd column has a text box control. On Form load, I am hiding both the repeating section in the 2nd column and the text box control in the 3rd column based on a field called hidden. I need to ensure that as soon as the user clicks on Insert new item in the repeating section the text box in the 3rd column becomes visible for that row. How should I achieve this with rules (no code use) ? Thanks, Amit

     Hi-

If you're talking about the default InfoPath widget that allows inserting new rows into repeating tables or sections, there's no functionality in InfoPath to add rules to that click. The only thing the click will do is to insert the row. Perhaps you could create conditional formatting (to hide/show controls) associated to something else (such as the number of rows in the table, or the number of fields that are not blank).

Yes I am talking about the default widget of repeating sections. Can we write some code at the click event of the repeating section that adds row to set some variable and check the value of the variable to hide/show the control in the last column in my case.
