    Web enabled form Problem

    Hello all,

Just recently I created a form that was to be published to a sharpoint list. I had completed the design, published it, and tested it on sharepoint with opening the form in infopath. All worked fine.

Next, I web-enabled the form and ended up with the same result. All seemed to work fine. The Form loaded in the browser and I was able to submit to the list from the browser. After a week or so I have tried to do some detail changes to the form and now during publishing the it now requires admin approval to publish in the browser. I found that this is because there's code in the form. Problem is, I don't remember placing any code other than the canned functions Infopath 2007 offers. I have checked in the form options to remove code but that option is greyed out.

Ultimately, I would like to figure out if it's possible to publish a form template without admin approval that is web enabled?

     Thank you ahead of time

    SB

    Hi SB,

Yes, you can definitely publish a form to ShP 2007/2010 that is web-enabled. Even forms with code will publish with admin approval in ShP 2010 if the sandbox is enabled.

If the remove code option is greyed out then you don't have code in the form and should be able to publish just fine.

Please attach your XSN and send email to Support (at) Qdabra (dot) com and we'll take a quick look.

    Thanks!

    Patrick,

I appreciate the assistance. As the form I created has quite a bit of organizaitonal details, I am not able to post the form. Is there a process of areas that I'd need to check?

I am sorry. Just confused how the form used to be available web enabled without admin approval. now it's required.
