Can someone please provide me the steps needed in order to convert my InfoPath 2010 XSN file to a cab file?

 You can just manually rename it - change the file extension. Do you have your files & folders set to show file extensions?

I am very new to renaming a file. In the 'File name' I have changed the ext to .cab, but the 'Save as type' still show .xsn. So, exactly how do you rename the file?

What are you trying to do? Just get the source files from the .xsn? Can you open it in design mode (right click the .xsn & select Design)? If so, just use the Publish > Export source files option.

I have modified an InfoPath form to include a new data connection. I have changed the fields to point to the new data connection and I am getting this message. "By default this control will send data to the server whenever its value changes. Reason: It uses the following expression requiring server-evaluation: concat(xdXDocument:GetDOM("EDI_ASST_SUPER_SP_T etc.

Ok. Why would you need to save the form as source files for this? This is just a warning message. Is it blocking you from publishing your form?

Just researching options. What should I do?

It isn't stopping me from publishing, but it is not auto-populating the fields once I do publish. It is web-browser enabled.

I'd assume you just have a logic issue in your template. Does it work in preview, but not in the browser?

Yes, only in preview.

I'd put the query and data fields for all data connections involved on the form someplace (just for testing) and publish to the browser. Do the fields have the same values in preview as in the browser? That is, if there is something specific in your logic, which, of course, I can't guess at, that relies on matching values, there is a chance that in the browser the data being returned is slightly different.
