Not sure if this is correct spot, but here is what I am trying to do and would prefer to try and do it without code, but open to code solutions as well.
What I have is forms that when they are submitted should have a history from start to finish of who performed what (submitted, approvals, processed, and closed). This should be tracked within the form and should be easy for users to identify when a new action was performed. I have been trying to use a repeating table that every other row will had a different color background (used conditional formatting) and have code so far to have it so that a new now is added to the repeating table each time the button is clicked. I would have a few buttons in this process (Initial submit button for users when submitting the form to log their name, date and action:Submit, then a submit button for each approval and processor). I have been looking around to try and use what others have done to complete some of the same process, but it does not seem to work.
Little more info: I have a rule on the button to set a field (repearting table field) and then code on the button to add a new row to the table when the button is clicked. What is really the issue is trying to have the log of each time the button is clicked, set the repeating table row to the user information (name, date, and action).
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
