    How to send out emails to someone on certain days of the month?

    I have a form published to a sharepoint library with a workflow set up and when a form is submitted i dont want to send out an email automatically to the approver for that form. I want to send out one email, which will always just be a link to the sharepoint library (where the forms are stored ) on the 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd of each month.

    Is this possible?

    From my experience of dates and emailing. Make sure you email/network is solid. People come to rely on emails from workflows instead of looking at views in a SP library.

    As every I turn to excel for this kind of stuff.

    Youll need to create calculated colums within your library. The formula that seemed to work for me is:

    =DATE(YEAR(TODAY()),MONTH(TODAY()),1) - 1st day of month
    =DATE(YEAR(TODAY()),MONTH(TODAY()),8) - 8th
    =DATE(YEAR(TODAY()),MONTH(TODAY()),15) - 15th
    =DATE(YEAR(TODAY()),MONTH(TODAY()),22) -22

    Your work flow can then wait until each of those dates in turn to email again.

    Hi Thanks for your answer I have set up four columns with these calculated fields and when forms are submitted it successfully sets the columns to the dates i need to use to send the emails but how would i set the workflow up to send just the one email on these dates and not one email for every submitted form?

     Thanks

    I think I understand what you're written

    You would need a form approval status field. draft,submitted, approved, rejected or example.I assume this would be set on a button or something thereof.

    Wait for form approval to equal submitted.

    Then you'll need an else if if using Wait For X to equal today and/or if item is greater than today. - Play with those two to suit your situation.

    I suspect you'll need to play with the formulas also because what if I submit a form on 24th of a month, then what? Will you not want next 1st of following month.

    This might help you - http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/25690/89268.aspx#89268
