    SharePoint Workflow

I created an Inventory control 2003 filler form which is currently hosted on SP2003 Server.  I work for very large government organization in which certain business units had there own domains.  We are in the process of migrating all the users from Windows XP/ Office 2003 to Windows 7/ Office 2010 as well as all of our SharePoint servers from SP2003 to SP2010.  One of the business units that had there own domain recently migrated into the larger domain.  At that time they requested to be able to use the Inventory control form I created.  They still operate independently so I added some data connections and put in some conditional formatting rules to have their forms directed to a SharePoint site they have setup called Submitted.  This SharePoint site is using SP2007. When the employee opens the form the input the information into our Inventory tracking program and then type in the employee ID and the date it was processed and then a copy of the form is archived in a Completed library.  They have asked me to implement a method in which the form is deleted from the Submitted library once a copy is forwarded to the Completed library.

First off I am trying to figure out if it is possible to build a workflow using InfoPath 2003 forms.  I am hoping to migrate the form to InfoPath 2010 (I have my fingers crossed) in the next few months.  If not possible using 2003 forms can it be accomplished using InfoPath 2010 forms?

As of right now my solution is to add a Processed column in the Submitted library that is updated in SharePoint to Yes which would allow the completed forms to be filtered out.

    Any suggestion are greatly appreciated.
