Problems with Decimal Mark (Region Issues) Infopath 2007

     Hi everybody!

I'm having a problem with publishing my Web Form using InfoPath 2007 ... I have 4 fields in a repetaing table to calculate Money. Field1*Field2 will show the result in SubTotalField, and TotalField will show the sum of all the SubTotalField values in the repeating table.  The problem is when i insert a decimal value like 15.27 it calculates right in my local form (Automatically changes the "." to "," when using "." from the numpad) but when i publish it it will only accept "," as decimal mark (Here in Argentina "," is the official decimal Mark), so if i insert 15.27 i will automatically ignore it and change to 1527. And in addition to this, if i use the "," as decimal mark, after adding a new row to the table the SubTotalField formula stops working and shows the message that only allows Numeric values WTF!!! it just stop recognizing the "," and thinks it's a Char :/

Thanks in Advance! I tried to make it the clearest possible, hope everybody understands!

    Hi Codere,

What locale is your SharePoint server running under? My guess is that it's different.

Anyway, you may be able to force the formatting by right clicking on the field and selecting Format and the correct locale.

    Best of luck!

Hi Patrick Thanks for your reply!

I didn't find where to set a field's locale in the Format options. But i solved my problem, i changed the Form language in the Form Options and set it to Spanish (United States). Now it recognizes the dot as decimal mark at least, but all the other languages where the comma is the decimal marks it doesn't :S

Another Question: Is there a way to change the keypress, so if the user presses "," it will automatically change to "." so the form will do the right calculation. Because now, if the users presses "," it ignores it automatically and if the user don't realize this automatic change... It will calculate everything wrong.
