Hi,

We are using qrules - Submit to Sharepoint list. And have been using it for 2 years. Works great, until now. We updated our infopath form as a newly published template on sharepoint 2010. Now, forms prior filled out prior to the last publish were able to submit to a sharepoint list - working fine, After publishing our new form, the forms are giving an error to the sharepoint list. However, New forms do not give an error.

Hi - what is the error you are getting?

Errors occurred submitting to list: Failed to select node for SharePoint List Id: #

 I had this problem before and the fix was to change single line text fields to multiline text fields - due to users were using #,@ characters in the fields.

However, i did that here and they are still not working.

 Can you attach a zip with your current template and one of the previously created XML files, please? Under the Options tab.

 Looks like you sent the mapping file with the template. What I'd be interested in is a filled out XML - one of the XML that is not submitting any longer? Can you send one of those to the support email address?

 Is this happening for a specific list submit? or all?

It seems to be happening for only a couple, not all.

Okay - the reason I was asking is because the error says that it can't find the ID field specified in the command - I was just going to verify those specific commands. I took a look, and those seem right - did you add any new mappings? Change the main data source at all? Can you set the /QdabraRules/Form/@extendedErrorMessages field to try and try to submit and see if you get a better error message? Just add a rule on /QdabraRules/@finishedLoading to set it to true....

I did as you asked. And it is not giving any more information.

Yes, the client wanted additional fields added the form and subsequently added to what we call their work orders. This is the SP lists that the selection form is mappped to and information carried over upon submitting.

I wonder - is your form set to update existing XML under Versioning? It could be that the old XML are missing some of the newly added nodes.

 Ahh, maybe. How do I check that? I don't recall ever setting that up either way.
