Hi there, 

I have a hidden field that I'm using to determine what the last field who's value changed using an Action - Set Field Value Rule.  

I have set up a rule for every single field that I up date setting the hidden field to   local-name(.)     (of the field that has just been updated)

The idea is then I hide and display other data based on the field that has just been updated.

This works perfectly using the InfoPath Filler but not at all using Webforms.

I have tried typing the value in the rule rather than using local-name(.) with no success.

Has anyone experienced this issue or have a workaround for what I'm trying to achieve?

 Wow - so it sounds like even w/out using the local-name function the rule isn't firing - or appears to not be firing. I wonder if setting the postback to always would help? I mean - for performance reasons, this would be a lousy work around, but you many want to try it for just a field or two and see if it fixes the issue.
