Opening browser enabled infopath form from another infopath form on button click

    Hi,

I have a scenario where on clicking a hyperlink i have to save the current infopath form to the forms library and open another infopath form.

While using the hyperlink i have these problems.

1.When i click the link the form opens in another form, but doesnt save the previous form.

2.The newly opened form does not close when i click on the close button.the page refreshes and opens the same form.

What i have understood i as there are no events assigned to the hyperlink control i am not able to save the form.

     I have changed the approach.

Instead of hyperlink i have used the button.

On button click i am able to save the current form, close it and open the other form with the help of HttpContext.Current.Response.Redirect("the url",false)

What i have observed is if the current form url is "http:/somesite/_layouts/FormServer.aspx?XsnLocation=http://somesite/FormServerTemplates/FORMQ.xsn&DefaultItemOpen=1"

and if i give  HttpContext.Current.Response.Redirect("http:/somesite/_layouts/FormServer.aspx?XsnLocation=http://somesite/FormServerTemplates/FORMP.xsn&DefaultItemOpen=1",false) in the button click

the newly opened form has the same url  "http:/somesite/_layouts/FormServer.aspx?XsnLocation=http://somesite/FormServerTemplates/FORMQ.xsn&DefaultItemOpen=1" refering to the previous url.

     How to fix it?

    Thanks,

What's the behavior if you change the boolean parameter from false to true?

even with the boolean i have the same problem :( i have tried almost everything i guess. The approached i tried was 98% successful, but the URL doesn't change which is the main problem.and i think it is referreing to the old thread.
