InfoPath cannot open a new form, The form template is not valid

After injecting an InfoPath 2010 form, whenever I try to preview the form I am getting the following error:

InfoPath cannot open the selected form because of an error in the form's code.

The class that contains event handlers for this form cannot be identified in the form's code. Confirm that the InfoPathStartupClass is specified correctly for the DescriptionAttribute attribute of the assembly.

Do I need to activate any other features to correct the error?

    Thanks,

    Jason

I haven't see this before! Can you attach the form template to a reply or send to Support AT Qdabra DOT com and reference this thread so we know what it is related to?

Are you running IP 2010 or 2013?

Oh - it is an Email Form Template - I don't know if we have tested qRules with that - I'll ping Test and see.

So - it looks like the email template is defaulting to the IP 2003 OM. When I looked at your template, under the Developer tab on the ribbon, Language button, I see the template is set to use IP 2003 for target version. I manually changed that to IP 2010 - I'm guessing that's what you injected with? And now the template previews without a problem and a simple command executes. I've emailed our testing group to see if we tested with email forms, but my guess would be we have not - so I'd encourage you to test your form frequently.

Here's a screenshot of the dialog where you can change the target version:

One more update - testing for qRules has only been done on forms that start from a filler compatible blank form or a browser compatible blank form. So, if you are using qRules in an email form, please do test your work frequently. If you find any issues, please post and let us know.
