How can i set up my workflow to send a second email if the user hasnt responded to first email (opened form and clicked the confrim button that they need to click)?

I have a browser enabled form that a manager fills out submits and the employee gets an email with a link to this form and they have to read through form and click 'confirm button'

However, i have a few of these forms that have been submitted but are still awaiting the employee after a few months - so what i want to do is say if formstate still equals awaiting employee 7 days after form is submitted send a reminder email , and after 14 days and still awaiting employee send another reminder email but with HR copied in on the email

The only way i could think of was in the worflow put a condition if formstate = awaiting employee and date = created date + 7 then send an email but i cant find how to do this??

    Hi Luke20,

The workflows need something to trigger on. Usually, that's a save or create. If you don't have that step, the workflows may not run. Of course, you can manually run the workflow on the forms, but that may be too onerous. To make it more of a batch, you could create a separate column or list and edit it in a data view and that could trigger a workflow on old items. The batch edit step would still be manual but it would be a lot less work than starting a workflow for each of the old items. On the other hand, if you only have a few old items, just have the admin manually run an "Overdue" workflow on those.

We have a product called DBXL that has support for sending out notifications when a form exceeds a due date. If third party software is an option let us know and we can help you configure that.

    Sorry I didn't have a silver bullet,
