InfoPath Dev

I have in my form a Data Connection to a Web Service (type Recive).
There are 2 parameters that the WS get (the methode),first one type string (called "Name") and seconed type Integer(calles "ModeType"). In my form I have this code:

Set dataObj=XDocument.DataObjects("AAA")
Set dataDom=dataObj.DOM


dataDom.setProperty _
"SelectionNamespaces","xmlns:dfs=""http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/dataFormSolution"" " & _

dataDom.selectSingleNode ("/dfs:myFields/dfs:queryFields/tns:AAA/tns:ModeType").text=XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode("/my:myFields/my:AAA/my:MT").text
dataDom.selectSingleNode ("/dfs:myFields/dfs:queryFields/tns:AAA/tns:Name").text=strName

I get Error : " Input string was not in a correct format."
What is the problem???

By the way: the field "Type" is a field which Data Type is Whole number
