How to filter items in a drop down list

i am developing a infopath form which has 2 dropdown lists.one is a CATAGORY dropdown list and the other is the ITEM dropdown list. The data items in the ITEM list should be filtered by the CATAGORY selected. First user need to select the catagory and then the items in the ITEM dropdown list should be filtered according to the catagory selected and display only the items which belongs to the selected catagory. The data is comming from a database through webservices.
the database table structure is as follows.

Catagory | Item |

how can i implement the above scenario?
