Showing attachments in SharePoint Form Library

    Hi,

I wanted to include the field with my attached documents in my SharePoint Form Library, after the form is being submitted, but while trying to publish the Form to SP2010 and choosing the attachments field I cannot add it. Getting message "The selected field cannot be promoted because its data type is not supported: base64Binary". Any clue what to do?

    Hi Olgierd,

You cannot promote an attachment field in InfoPath - it's something that's not supported when publishing InfoPath to SharePoint.

We do have a tool called qRules that can convert images and attachments to link and upload them to a separate library in SharePoint. That should allow you to publish the link field to your SharePoint library. Clicking the link will open the attachment in the browser. I think that should meet your requirement.

You can download and try qRules for free here.

    Thanks,

    Jo-Anne
