Hio there, XML / InfoPath is all new to me.....but; I have an XML file i created for a secondary data source, something like this: UK Joe Bloggs Great Britain Pound GBP USA James Bond US Dollar USD 2500 I was wanting advice on how to load a specific record in my XML based on a user choice in my form (which is a list also populated from this XML file). So, for example. User selects "USA" as country - then I'd like to display the elec_useage value from this node/record......... I'm not quite sure how to do this......any help (simplified) is greatly appreciated. thank you, Neil

What's you're looking for is called cascading dropdown. Here's one tutorial; there are other tutorials available online - just search for infopath cascading dropdowns on Google if you need more samples.

Thanks Ernest, I should have mentioned, it is a browser form - is there a solution? Also, its not another drop down I want to populate, but data within my form...... thanks again, Neil
