Wasn't sure where to put this one.
I'm on IP 2010 publishing to MOSS 2007. I've discovered that some fields are autopopulating with the Item Property name from a previous publish. I realized that IP named some fields in a way that we did not want. So, they were changed during a republish. However, the fields are now populating with that previous name instead of remaining blank.
For example,
During previous publish, field was named DMInv Mang.
During republish, field was renamed DM InvMang.
Now when the form is submitted (with nothing populating that field), it shows up in sharepoint populated with {ItemProperty:DMInv_x0020_Mang}
Any clues how I can get this to stop happening? I'm not really sure where to start. It's causing more of an issue because some of the fields need to be workflow triggers to fire when "not empty"...so obviously they are just always not empty. I know I shouldn't change field names after the publish, but I missed some of IPs errant naming conventions and wanted consistency in the MOSS names.
