Change button to enabled upon completing two text boxes?

Sorry if this is in the incorrect place, I am new here. I am currently running a rule on the button control to check that two text boxes are not blank. However, the button does not become enabled until the focus comes away from the text box. Is there a way to run the rule upon text box change instead rather than lost focus? Or are there any other methods that you can suggest. Thanks in advance.

The rule won't be evaluated until the user tabs out of the control (that is, until the field "loses" focus). I haven't run across a workaround; I've always taken this as default InfoPath behavior, unfortunately.
