    Using Sha

    Hello:

I am getting the following error when a user tries to fill out a form I created. It has a drop-down list that uses the Contacts 2 list from a Sharepoint site as its data source. The user has full rights to that list. What do I have to do to resolve this problem?
    Thanks!

Form template: file:///\\<server name removed for posting>\ITCompliance\Dept%20Status%20ReportsAuto\Forms\template.xsn

The following DataObject either cannot be created or cannot be initialized: Contacts 2

The query cannot be run for the following DataObject: Contacts 2

InfoPath cannot run the specified query.

    Access is denied.

    Hi Deb,
Hmmm. Looks like the user doesn't have full rights. Is the InfoPath form on the same server as the Contacts2 list? What is the security level for the form? (in Designer, go to Tools->Form Options->Security)

Thanks for the reply, Patrick. The security level is set to "domain." I got it working late last night. I accidently gave the tester the path to the form before I published it on the Sharepoint site. Sometimes one gets so lost through the trees . . . ;-)
