Hello!
Well, I am a newbie in Infopath.
So, I need to implement "Form to Form cooperation" scenario using Infopath forms. The main form has fields that need to get data from database directories. It's not appropriate to use drop-down lists for this purpose. We need another form (or maybe view?) to search data in DB directories. It would use web service to submit query conditions and response back the search results. After user finded he wants, he returns back to the main form. I have found ways to launch a new form. So a problem now is how to return data back to the former form?

Is there a reason you cannot use multiple views on one form? This makes passing data between views much easier.

To insert a new View, click Design Tasks, Views, and Add View at the bottom.

I need to submit the query data and receive the results in the supporting views while the main view uses the primary data connection. As far as I know it is possible either to submit or to receive data using secondary data connection. But I need both. So the supporting form would allow submit-receive queries.

You should be able to setup 2 secondary data sources, one to query and one to submit. I would recommend this over trying to create seperate forms that communicate between each other.
