Create a view in from library settings based on the filled in value in the infopath form

Thank You well in Advance to all....

Hi, In my form I have a dropdown field, which have different statuses like(Bill Received, Bill paid, Bill Not Recived). What i want to achieve is, based on the selected status of the submitted form, i need to create a view in the form library.

How can I link this field (dropdown for status), while creating a views in the form library. (OR) Is it possible to do through the infopath view?

    Thanks,

    Sangi

Not sure if I understand your scenario completely, but I'll try my best to offer some suggestions on what you could do.  One option that comes to mind is a mashup that uses web parts and part to part connections to display this form library view you are talking about.  You would have a list of all your submitted forms and then load the form in the other web part based on your selection.  Then that form can look at the status of the form and load the correct view accordingly.  Its a more advanced scenario, but definitely doable in SharePoint/InfoPath.

Here is a link to a webinar I did on this topic that may help you out: http://www.qdabra.com/en/products/qRules_new.aspx

If you are looking to do this within InfoPath only, you could create a secondary data connection to the form library and query the data.  Using the status you could load up different views as well using rules.
