The PeoplePicker control appears to only pick up the DisplayName, AccountId and the AccountType. But if you double click the value when displayed it shows the Email address as well.
How can I capture and display this email address?
The people picker will only retrieve these 3 three fields. You can use the UserProfile web service or Qdabra's ADWS if you want to retrieve the email address. It's just a little more work, but could also get you alot more info like manager, etc. if needed.
I understand how to use the UserProfile service but what I am not able to do is make the connection from the name selected in the people picker to the UserProfile service.
