    Field authenication

I have created an Infopath 2010 form which is on sharepoint 2010.  I have fields in the form which requires various managers signoff.  I am trying to come up with a way to have field authentication so the correct manager is approving the correct field.  I am trying to use a drop-down box with the managers name and the only person that will be able to select that box is the correct manager.

    Thanks for your help

It sounds like you first need to detect who the currently signed in user is - do you have a way of accomplishing this, such as querying active directory? If you do, then you can set up conditional formatting in the form based on who the current user is.

Does that make sense? I guess we first need to know whether you have a way of determining the currently logged in user. Once that's in place the rest should be easy!
