InfoPath Dev

 I am having a big problem with my binding in infopath 2010.  I am a student who is on placement and has been given a project to create a software request form for a large organisation.

 

To get to the point the end user has to select a campus they are based on and then the room within that campus.  When they select the campus the capus automatically appears in the room number dropdown then, like so:

 

 

 

The room number drop down still only displays the rooms in that campus which I want it to do but when I select a room number it rewrites the campus drop down to that room number, like so:

 

 

 

I have found some threads on this forum saying that its to do with repeating feilds but no one actually says how to correct the problem and because I am very new to infopath I dont understand the termonology.

 

If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it because I have to demonstrate this in a weeks time to my managers for approval and would prefer it working correctly as this is the only problem I am currently having.

It doesn't look like your images came through correctly.  Could you try uploading them again?  Could you go into some details about how the filtering is implemented/how rules are set up on the dropdown fields?

Yes the campus drop down has no rulings or filters and the room number drop down is as follows:

 This is how I am able to select a campus and only display the rooms within that campus.  For example each room number in my access databse has the campus beside it in another column.  So if I select PORTADOWN it will display all room numbers will PORTADOWN beside them in the databse

Have you found the problem or is the problem the way in which I have bound the objects?

You have two drop downs. One is bound to the location_campus field. What field is the room number drop down bound to?
