Copy select data fields from one InfoPath form to another InfoPath form

I am trying to get a few fields of text data from one or more InfoPath Form(s) into a repeating table text field in a second InfoPath Form. I have tried exporting to Excel, but can't find a way to import. I've tried exporting to a Web List without success. I've searched hi and low using Google without success. I do not have access to a SQL database and MS-Access is not immediately available either. I'm not averse to using a SharePoint Workflow, if is relatively simple! I need help finding a direction to pursue a solution. Thanks in advance!

We accomplish this using qRules' GetInputParameter command. To summarize, you'll have to pass in the values as parameters from one form to the other. Besides qRules, this can be accomplished by writing custom code.

I am trying to take a few select fields from multiple copies of the same template, a Project Status Report (PSR), and build an Executive Status Report. I want to build a Portfolio Status Report with a row for each individual PSR and the fields taken from each individual PSR. Proj Name, Schedule Status, Resource Status, Project Stage, Due Date and Project Manager are examples of the fields I would like to gather from each PSR and put into a table in the Portfolio Status report. Ideally, there would be one row in the destination table for each individual PSR. I would also like to alphabetize the resulting table by Project name after the destination table is completed. Do I still use the GetInputParameter command, the SubmitToSharePointList command, something else or is this too difficult to do without custom code?

I don't think qRules is needed for this. If you have a form library, you can use promoted properties to get your data into columns. Then you can use a standard SharePoint query to retrieve those values into your other form.

For the sorting portion of the scenario, you could use SortTable in qRules.
