    Repeating Table to display many rows when view opens.

    This involves two data sources. the MAIN one for my form with a repeating group called APQP and a Secondary datasource to a SharePoint list containing over 90 rows with 5 fields.

    The APQP group contains the cooresponding fields to the SharePoint list plus fields for things like status, username, completed date...

    Using the ID field from the SharePoint list and a field that contains the row number in the table, I have the 5 fields in the APQP group default to the cooresponding field in the SharePoint list. Works great! As a matter of fact, The whole thing works perfect.

    EXCEPT FOR one problem. The user must click insert row over 90 times to show all of the rows in the SharePoint list.

    I need all 90+ rows to fill in when the user opens the view.

    Is there any NON CODE method of accomplishing this? If not, can you give me advice on what code to use and where to apply it?

    THANKS

    If you go to Default Values, you can enter as many rows as you'd like to display initially for your repeating table. Screenshot attached.

    This works great in preview.

    I had to add 100 rows. But It works well.

    The published version in SharePoint hangs up the form.

    I have the following Xpath code on an index field that shows a row number.

    count(preceding-sibling::*/DeliverableID) + 1

    Like I said, everything works well in preview. hangs up the form when I load the view in SharePoint.

     Oh, I see. It's a browser form. You may have just hit a performance limit for InfoPath browser forms. It's 100 rows x 5 fields per row?

    Just verified, It's not the row index doing it.

    Ideas?
