i am having this problem when i am trying to publish the new version of the tempalte to the document ibrary

Infopath cannot save the following form

URL location to the document library

This document library was either renamed or deleted, or network problems are preventing the file from being saved. if this problem persists, contact your administrator.

i published many versions, but never had this problem, i am using infopath 2007, client based form, sharepoint 2010 site. any suggestions can help.

This problem is solved when i published the template from another developers system, now i can be able to publish the form, and save the documents as well, i think my credentials locked out, but never find reasons why this is happened. do anyone have any idea on this?

one user was also complaining that she cannot save the form after filling out, but that problem also resolved.

I had the same problem running InfoPath 2013 against SharePoint 2013 running on Windows 2012. I found the solution in the KB article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2752612

In a nutshell you have 2 choices :-

    1. If you must develop InfoPath forms on the Sharepoint Server.
    • Add Windows Server Feature: User Interfaces and Infrastructure -> Desktop Experience
    • Reboot
    • Start Windows Services -> Themes service

     2. Don't develop on your server.

    •  Run InfoPath on a client machine & publish to the server.

Many would advise that this is the preferred option as it is a good thing to keep the components that run on a server to a bare minimum. Thus reducing the attack surface, less to patch & less change of a reboot. Also better Performance as less stuff running in Memory, installed on disk etc.

(Of course if it is also your Development Machine then Option 1 is the way to go :-)

    Hope this helps

I had this same problem a couple of days ago. I wasn't able to publish my InfoPath 2013 form library to my test SharePoint 2013 team site. I followed step 1 on my Windows Server R2 virtual machine and I was able to publish my InfoPath 2013 forms to my test SharePoint 2013 site. InfoPath 2013 works perfectly now. Thanks for your help!

Even though this question is 5 years old... I'm having the same exact issue.  I've tried everything listed, but still can't get it to work.

See here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/216720/enable-user-interface-infrastructure-feature-by-po == In windows 2019 standard, you can install the WebDAV Redirector feature. Go to server manager->add roles and features->install the WebDAV Redirector feature->restart the server. And then go to start->search “services”->start the “WebClient” service. After that, you could go to the document library and click “open with explorer” in the ribbon, it will open the document library in the windows explorer. == In Old versions- Log in as an administrator. Start Server Manager. Select Add roles and features. On the Select Installation Type page, select Role-based or feature-based installation. On the Select Destination Server page, select a server. On the Select Server Roles page, accept the default selection and click Next. On the Select Features page, under User Interfaces and Infrastructure, select Desktop Experience. Follow the prompts and finish the installation ==
