InfoPath Dev

I know we can create a new form on a list with InfoPath 2010, but can we easily use InfoPath to open the edit view of an item?

My understanding is that if you use InfoPath to edit the list form in ShP 2010, that same IP form is used for new / edit / display, instead of the 3 SharePoint forms. You could probably use some conditional formatting if you want different behavior between new and edit - based on whether required fields are filled out when the form is opened....

Yep, you are right. It didn't happen the first time checked, but it is working now. Maybe the delay had something to do with moving the whole list from one site collection to another then enabling it to work with InfoPath. Thanks for the reply.
