Problem with publishing forms with sanboxed solution

Hi, I have an infopath form with some code, and I had published many versions of that and it was working properly. I was trying to publish a new version and I faced this error: "The form template has been published to the server but it can only be opened in infopath filler. The sandboxed solution could not be activated..." I checked the "sandboxed code service" and it is started (I even stopped it and started again), and my server is not a domain controller (common problem) I'm really getting mixed up on this, plz help!

    Hello,

Are there any messages in InfoPath's Design Checker?

If you have access to the SharePoint logs, you could also check those to see if there are any messages recorded at the time of the failed publish.

Hopefully with more information from these two questions the problem can be narrowed down. Thanks!

Thank you Ernesto for your quick reply, in IP Design checker, there are a few warnings that do not seem to be related to this problem. In sharepoint log, I found this line that I hope will help: "FormServer Partial Trust - remote conversion for solution IW:/SITES/xxx/xxxx/FORMS/TEMPLATE.XSN, tag:RixxiVgjHnXpFEG0DqIFpufzshK4nOLHzKpLnKA0D4(InfoPath Form_xxx_C9JVdIOa_1.0.0.722.wsp) from site a1776176-c8d4-4406-8282-4bc207fdb8bb failed with exception The sandboxed code execution request was refused because the Sandboxed Code Host Service was too busy to handle the request." I even tried with a new blank form template with just one Button and a single line of code, I still had the same problem. Thanks

Thanks for the info. Your investigation suggests a server issue. Do you have another server to test out your form template and your very simple form template? I would check Windows Updates on the server and if nothing if pending, I would restart the machine to see if that fixes it.

Ernesto, thank you vey mush for your help. I searched for the error that was logged (...The sandboxed code execution request was refused because the Sandboxed Code Host Service was too busy to handle the request...), and I found this article: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sharepointdev/archive/2011/02/08/error-the-sandboxed-code-execution-request-was-refused-because-the-sandboxed-code-host-service-was-too-busy-to-handle-the-request.aspx the 4th reason mentioned in this article, solved my problem. It was as following: "IV. A fourth known cause is that SharePoint is trying to check for certificate revocations at crl.microsoft.com...There is a registry key that is used by the sandboxed solution infrastructure and sometimes gets the wrong value" This registery key is: HKEY_USERS\\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WinTrust\Trust Providers\SoftwarePublishing and the State key value must be set to "0x00023e00". in my case, it was "0x00023c00" instead! (I really don't know why) thanks anyway. looking into the sharepoint log was a great hint.
