I am using Infopath 2010 with SharePoint

this is a list based InfoPath form

I want to set a rule to run but I need it to delay a few seconds instead of on form load.

I have some javascript that runs when the web page is opened and it populates a few fields in the form. I have a rule that is looking to thi=ose fields on load but because of the delay the rule thinks the fields are empty.

 I thought maybe I could delay the rule a few seconds and not start it on form load

Any suggestions would be great.

Instead of an on load rule, could you set the rule(s) to run on the field(s) you are populating via javascript?
