    OneNote link w/in InfoPath form

I'm customizing a SharePoint List using InfoPath 2010.  I would like to add a link to the instructions in OneNote...but each time I publish the form, the link is displayed in plain text.

Here's the hyperlink to the OneNote page:
    onenote:http://somenet/teams/sites/p/PI%20Guides%20Shared/PI%20SPOC%20Instructions/CMO%20Anonymous%20Tips%20Log.one#Completing%20the%20referral%20form&section-id={{2566DD96-E49E-429D-9303-980FD08FACE3}}&page-id={{35922C02-9DC6-479A-8915-6BD7559889B5}}&end

In InfoPath, I tried inserting it via the 'hyperlink' button from the ribbon and also trying pasting the entire link as a label. The link works when I do preview but when it opens on SharePoint, the link is displayed as a plan text.  Is there a work around this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Azu

It should work if you insert it as a hyperlink.  Go to Insert tab --> Hyperlink and then paste your OneNote link in there.  Is this what you tried?

    Hi Anson,

Yes, I tried that approach too but thank you.

Just wondering if anyone found a solution for this? I'm experiencing this same issue with InfoPath and OneNote links.

My OneNote hyperlink works fine in InfoPath Preview but fails after I publish to IE. The hyperlink is being modified when I publish. The difference being is that an extra open and close curly bracket are added to the link which causes it to fail in IE. Here's a snippet of my hyperlink: InfoPath Designer and IP Preview: _layouts/15/WopiFrame.aspx?sourcedoc={74ef7497-a8a6-426e-b8ab-452843e9ea3e}&action=view IE: _layouts/15/WopiFrame.aspx?sourcedoc={{74ef7497-a8a6-426e-b8ab-452843e9ea3e}}&action=view
