    Validation of Infopath form

I have a form with several views. In one view I have option button and text boxes and they all need to be filled by the user. I another view I have option button and text boxes. When one view is selected by the user and submitted it also wants the other view top be filled by the user because I have made all field cannot be blank. How do I resolve this issue?

     Thank you

    Hi there,

What do you mean when one view is selected?  If you have any fields in the form marked as Cannot be blank and they are blank when you submit the form regardless of what view they are in, InfoPath will not let you submit.

Do you want the user to fill out either all required fields in View1 OR View2?  Just wanted to clarify whether this is the scenario you are trying to accomplish to make sure I'm answering your question correctly :)

     Hi Anson,

I want the users to fill out all required fields in view one and then submit and then the navigation button takes them to view 2 and they need to fill all required fields and submit view 2. How do I make this happen?

    Thanks

Does the first submit need to occur separately than the second?  If not, then you could just have a button switch to the second view and then submit all of the data at the same time after view 2 is filled out.

Well, to fill view 1 and then go to view 2 and submit is not a good idea. Users may go to view 2 and not finish the rest  and I do not know how to or if infopath form can do session tracking.
