Did anyone notice that you cannot put a tooltip onto a dropdown? Why is that and does anyone have a creative way to do this?

Can we confirm this?

I also tried putting the dropdown into a dummy section and then adding a tool tip to section. But that does not work very well because the tool tip does not appear when you hover over the drop down.

Interesting. I tried wrapping in a section and putting a tooltip on the section, but didn't work.

I found this thread that suggests using a task pane, but that's about it :(

Yeah, little late in the game for me to implement a help task pane but will remember that for the future...
