I have recently stumbled across an issue with one of my Infopath Forms which has been published to a SharePoint Form Library, and was hoping for a bit of help.
I am not by any means confident enough in my developer skills to launch this onto my users so all I have done is create a rule on a text field ()username, which says if it contains a certain surname then change another text field to TRUE (default FALSE). I have had to do this as I cant seem to work out authentication or any rules based around individual users.
On my desktop environment this works all the time. And on the first launch within SharePoint it works. However subsequent launches it just shows as false. The reason I am thinking about the cache is that after running the "infopath /cache clearall" command it will work for the inital launch from the browser but then fails again. The infopath /cache clearall command wont work for those using InfoPath Form Services, but it must be a server side issue.
Same behaviour is happening whether it is launching in the client or from the browser.
Hopefully somebody can give me some advice.
