Hi - I am new to InfoPath. This seems like a feature that should be a non-programming solution. which is good because I can't do much coding. I did try not using the Master/detail route and doing filtering, but that hasn't worked either.
My Main data source is an Access database. I have a Repeating table which I have specified as my Master with it's ViewContext name set as the Master ID. The table is populated with one field from the first table in my dataFields section of the Main data source myFields tree. (see attached).
I have a Repeating Section below it, in which I have inserted a couple of fields from a subordinate table in my Main database. However, when I try to Set as Detail and select from the drop down of Link to Master ID I get an eror message that says "The master that you just picked is in a incorrect context." I have no idea what this is trying to tell me, nor have my searches turned up any results.
Any help would be appreciated !
